يحكى انّ ابنة هولاكو
زعيم التتار كانت تطوف في بغداد، فرأت جمعاً من الناس يلتفـون حول رجل منهم.. فسألت
عنه.. فإذا هو عالم من علماء المسلمين.. فأمرت بإحضاره!
فلما مثُل بين يديها
سألته: ألستم المؤمنون بالله؟
قال: بلى..
قالت: ألا تزعمون أن
الله يؤيد بنصره من يشاء؟
قال: بلى..
قالت: ألم ينصرنا الله
عليكم؟
قال: بلى..
قالت: أفلا يعني ذلك
أننا أحب إلى الله منكم؟
قال: لا..
قالت: لم؟!
قال: ألا تعرفين راعي
الغنم؟
قالت: بلى..
قال: ألا يكون مع قطيعه
بعض الكلاب؟
قالت: بلى..
قال: ما يفعل الراعي
إذا شردت بعض أغنامه وخرجت عن سلطانه؟
قالت: يرسل عليها كلابه
لتعيدها إلى سلطانه..
قال: كم تستمر الكلاب
في مطاردة الخراف؟
قالت: ما دامت شاردة..
قال: فأنتم أيها التتار
كلاب الله في أرضه، وطالما بقينا نحن المسلمين شاردين عن منهج الله وطاعته، فستبقون
وراءنا حتى نعود إليه عز و جل!

والكلاب تطاردها.. للأسف الشديد!!
